Founder and C.G.O. (Chief Genius Officer)
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius – and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction – Albert Einstein
What the genius wants:to be one day awarded a knighthood
Head of Research and Sustainable Developement
We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive – Albert Einstein
Aged twenty something, Oxbridge educated like John, Bertie is our Genius junior. Before joining the team MyUtilityGenius, Bertie had been studying the environment for his snazzy Phd and spent several months in the Amazon forest observing the impact of deforestation and eating worms. We think this was actually in preparation for a dream invitation to participate in “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”; He insists it is because he likes worms… Whatever… Bertie also spent a couple of years working for an energy supplier as a sustainable development manager. Bertie is the high-tech spod of our team and likes everything that is green.
Bertie is jealous of:Guy Thompson who has 3 screens for his office desktop
Director and Energy Expert
There is only one good – knowledge; and one evil – ignorance – Socrates
Guy is the director of the team and our Chief Energy Expert. Amongst other things Guy is responsible for MyUtilityGenius’ future developments; supplier relationships and engagement; and eating random confectionery left on other team member’s desks at the office after 7pm*. Guy has extensive experience within the broad energy and utilities sectors. He is always prepared to bore unsuspecting passers-by with the intricacies of structured derivatives products in the energy markets. When that happens, the headphones go on and the team cease any pretence of listening to him. This may explain why he looks angry on his avatar…
Guy is never described as: Subtle and softly spoken
* This is hotly disputed and a public enquiry is imminent
